WWE: 10 Reasons Chris Jericho Will Always Be The Best In The World At What He Does

5. 'Putting Over' Young Stars

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUa6sqZHcAs Yes, several stars do this but it€™s almost as if Jericho makes a point of finding the €˜next big thing€™ and working with them. Most obviously, we had his 2012 feud with CM Punk which became increasingly nasty but was always about who really was €˜the best€™. Then we had a Ziggler story which also ran for several months but included a rare unheralded return at the Royal Rumble this year. Also this year we had a Fandango shock win at Wrestlemania that, for a couple of weeks at least, made Fandango the biggest crossover star the WWE had. It€™s not that he always loses, because he doesn€™t, it€™s the fact that, when that bell rings you don€™t know if he €˜might€™ lose and, similar to the freak KO by a weaker challenger in boxing, that uncertainty makes the matches better. With the best will in the world, that uncertainty isn€™t in most of John Cena€™s matches but with Jericho, and his desire to work with young talent, the possibility of a shock defeat is always there.
