The Miz's tenure on The Real World (and later, Real World/Road Rules Challenge) introduced him to fans who wouldn't necessarily have known about him if his first television exposure came on Smackdown. As a result, he has the mainstream renown WWE so desires for its superstars. Whether or not The Miz brought new fans to WWE can't be measured, but it's a fact that since becoming a major player, the company has capitalized on his transcendence of wrestling.
