WWE: 10 Superstars That Retired Before They Were 40

4. Lita

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASvbZyIohlo There are few women in the history of WWE that can say not only did they win the Women's Title four times, but they also managed a World Champion like she did with Edge. Lita is one of the most successful women in WWE history. She started in WWE when she was 24 and left when she was just 31 years old. She's also a woman that went through it all from managing the likes of Essa Rios in the beginning, then the Hardy Boys (that's when she became really popular), then she started wrestling more while having an epic feud with Trish Stratus and of course she was most known for her relationship as Edge's manager. Some fans may not like Lita because part of the reason she became really well known as a heel was that she cheated on her then boyfriend Matt Hardy with Edge while she was on the road and Matt had an injury. It was a real life situation that was brought to life. To her credit, she did her job to the best of her ability and played the role of the slutty girlfriend very well. Her feud with Trish Stratus saw her wrestle in the main event of Raw against her rival - the only women to ever main event Raw in a singles match in the show's 21 year history. She feuded with other women along the way like Victoria and Mickie James too, but there's no denying that Stratus was her greatest rival. While I wouldn't be shocked if Lita appears on a WWE show once in a while as she has in the recent past with Pee Wee Herman, it's unlikely that she would be a full-timer again. Most likely the next time we see her will be for her own Hall of Fame induction.
