5. Shane McMahon
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMwJUdZ5-C8 You might be thinking to yourself, he's not a wrestler. Well yeah he wasn't a full time wrestler, but Shane McMahon had a number of great matches in his career. Shane was also a key member of several top WWE storylines during his on screen career that spanned from when he was working as a referee in the early 90s to the mid 2000s. There are some great moments in his career as somebody that got his ass kicked routinely by the likes of Steve Austin and The Rock. He also put his body on the line in an unforgettable match against Kurt Angle at King of the Ring 2001. His match against his father at WrestleMania 17 was also very memorable and part of the reason that show is considered by me to be the best PPV ever. When Shane McMahon left WWE at the end of 2009 at age 39, it shocked a lot of people. Most fans thought he was a WWE lifer just like his dad and his younger sister Stephanie. However, he chose to leave possibly because he wasn't named WWE CEO after his mother stepped away to pursue a political career. We don't know that for sure, but that slight could have been a factor. Shane moved on to other business ventures most notably with the YOU on Demand service that's based in China. He serves as the Chairman and CEO of that company. Could he return to WWE one day? Sure. He's 44 now and after spending nearly five years away from the company he might miss it, but he also might never return because he's a married father of three that has other priorities in his life right now. I miss seeing him in a WWE ring, but I also respect him a lot for being able to walk away from a family business the way he did because that's not easy to do.
