WWE: 10 Things From WWE History We Still Need Closure From

1. Randy Savage Is Not In The Hall Of Fame

Of all the issues that remain unresolved for WWE fans, this is the one that perhaps tops them all. The Macho Man was one of the most charismatic, most unique individuals in the history of the business. He brought a colorful intensity and skill level that very few Superstars of his era could match and had it not been for Hulk Hogan, Savage might have been the top draw in WWE during his run. But despite all his accomplishments and despite the fact that his influence is still being felt today, Randy Savage remains out of the Hall of Fame. It's a fact that has troubled many fans over the years and it is not going away anytime soon. But WWE's reasoning for never inducting Savage has never been fully explained. And even though Savage's brother Lanny Poffo had reportedly said he wanted the family put in before he would allow WWE to use Randy, the fact is that there should be room for negotiation. As long time WWE fans know, much of the speculation surrounding Randy's omission from the Hall involves an alleged incident between himself and Stephanie McMahon. And as a result, Vince will not allow Randy to be immortalized in the Hall of Fame. Whether or not this is true is not known. But what is known is the desire of fans to see Randy Savage given the public respect that he deserves. The Hall of Fame means so much to the WWE faithful and to see him in it is a moment that many simply cannot wait for.
