In the build to their Wrestlemania main event-level confrontation, John Cena has publicly claimed that Bray Wyatt "says things that may be true." Heels lie. Heels lie about everything, all the time, in such a way that makes them despicable and untrustworthy characters. Jake Roberts told the truth so much as a heel, that when cast as a babyface, the people chanted "DDT" at him louder than they did when he was a heel, because they believed in him (and his finish) so much. Honesty and correctness create trust and legitimacy. Legitimate and trustworthy are not traits that make a great heel in a traditional sense.
