WWE: 10 Ways CM Punk Quitting Could Now Become A Storyline

4. Hunter Shoots Back

Triple H A That pipe bomb will have done the business, Punk vs Hunter at Wrestlemania 30 would have more heat than anything else on the card. It would be the most talked about feud of the year. The next week on Raw, The Game gets his turn. I loved Hunter's mic work as a heel in 2003-2006, so I expect he would deliver strongly here. Subjects that could be covered would be Punk's ego, his selfishness at walking out and inability to draw as champion in 2012. "But when you mentioned Stephanie, you made it personal kid," The Game would growl, "at Wrestlemania 30 I'm hurting you for real and showing you what a work and a shoot is small boy." This feud works because both men have believable motivations to fight. Punk hates what HHH stands for creatively and HHH hates Punk's arrogance and sense of entitlement. The personal barbs will have made it extra hot. To further get over the seriousness of the feud, Triple H could use the rest of the promo to say he is resigning his corporate role - he wants to be free of the shackles of business because what he intends to do is going to be totally unprofessional. Later in the night he could attack Punk unawares, brutalizing the second city saviour to reinforce his point.
