http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TePZOGwc5xg The ECW brand that WWE ran in the mid 2000's wasn't very good. I think it's fair to say that and a lot of WWE people would say that too. At the 2007 Rumble, the ECW Title match saw the champion Bobby Lashley defending against Test. It was WWE's way of re-programming Test. They were given only 7 minutes, showed zero chemistry and lost the crowd as soon as it took place. If you watch the match again you can hear how literally nobody cares about anything they did. It was such a short match, yet Test was doing so many rest holds. It kept the crowd even less interested in a match. If you're only going seven minutes, can you fit more "action" into it. When the babyface Lashley tried to make his comeback, the fans responded a bit more, but it's not like they were that interested in it. The finish of the match saw Test walk out of ring and lost by countout after a clothesline. Yes, just a clothesline. Maybe it was because he realized he couldn't beat Lashley. Or maybe it was because he knew the match was awful.
