3. JTG
Whether it was the fault of creative or the fact that he couldn't keep his mouth shut, JTG went from being one half of the most popular babyface tag team in WWE to being someone who never appears on television. As a member of Cryme Tyme, JTG and Shad Gaspard were two very popular up and coming wrestlers who seemed to have a long career ahead of them. Cryme Tyme's gimmick was actually fairly original and caught on with fans rather quickly. They would steal other wrestler's possessions and sell them to fans for profit. One year, they were caught selling fake numbers for the Royal Rumble and later they stole a car before having it dismantled at Brisco Brothers Auto Parts. The team even had a catchphrase that was over with fans ("Money, money, yeah, yeah") and received a number of tag team title shots. However, a number of backstage issues and disagreements led to Shad receiving his release in 2010 and JTG was taken off television and sent to NXT. For the past few years, JTG has been relatively unseen on television except when he's getting squashed like a bug in a quick match. On NXT Redemption, an effort seemed to be launched to repackage JTG but the push was quickly aborted and JTG hasn't won a televised match since.
