7. Goldberg Wins US Title From Raven (April 20, 1998)

Along the way, there were several great Goldberg moments that were unforgettable. One of those moments involved a secondary title, the United States Championship. The Goldberg phenomenon was as hot as ever by this point and the beautiful thing about this match is that Raven's Flock was also a part of it meaning Goldberg was able to destroy several guys on his way to winning the US Title. That was smart because fans loved Goldberg due to the way he kicked people's ass. Listen to that crowd reaction when he hit that Spear on Raven. They built it up so well that when he hit it, that reaction was as loud as anything you might ever hear. Then he destroyed other members of The Flock and that too led to some huge reactions. When Goldberg got Raven back in the ring he hit another huge Spear and followed it up with Jackhammer. Everybody in the crowd was standing as he covered for the win and the US Title. The crowd went wild. It's one of those things that I remember well from 15 years ago, but when I watch it again it's a great reminder of just how popular this guy was. It was only the US Title, but in April 1998 it was a part of Goldberg's undefeated streak and everybody absolutely loved it.
