WWE: 11 Loudest Crowd Reactions In WCW History

5. Ric Flair's "Abuse Of Power" On Eric Bischoff (Sept. 14, 1998)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycgNEC86q0w "You are a no good son of a bitch!" - Ric Flair to Eric Bischoff. Ric Flair was, in many ways, the face of WCW along with Sting. They're the two guys that were seen as the flagbearers of WCW. Other than the time when Flair was in WWE from late 1991 through early 1993, he was a WCW guy. You could always see him on WCW TV...except for a few months in 1998. Then he returned on September 14, 1998 in Greenville, South Carolina, which was definitely Four Horsemen country. In April of 1998, Flair missed a WCW Thunder taping because he attended a wrestling event for his son. Eric Bischoff ended up suing Flair for missing the taping and people thought he was fired. The crowd went wild as Flair returned to WCW and embraced all the members of the Horsemen, especially his best friend Arn Anderson. As Flair faced the crowd, he started crying while the fans in attendance gave him a standing ovation. They missed him because they knew how much he loved performing for them. Flair delivered a fired up promo ripping on Eric Bischoff for trying to disband the Horsemen. When Eric Bischoff showed up, Flair started freaking out. He called him an "overbearing assh**e" and didn't seem to care about it. He also kept yelling "abuse of power" at Bischoff. They ended up feuding for the rest of 1998, but it was this moment that was the highlight of the feud. This was one of my favorite WCW moments because it was Ric Flair speaking from his heart and the fans of WCW gave him the kind of ovation he deserved.
