9. Gail Kim Quits During WWE Match
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCoFCSISuEI "This could be a train wreck of a match," Michael Cole states as this Divas Battle Royal kicks off. It was exactly that. Just 42 seconds into the bout, a disillusioned Gail Kim simply rolls herself under the ropes and walks out of the WWE. It was a pretty bold move to say the least, if not borderline disrespectful to her fellow performers and employer. Kim has defended her decision to simply walk out during the match, stating that she felt the company was holding her back. Being told by WWE to get eliminated in the first minute of a battle royal was obviously too much for the star to take and on getting backstage she quit. WWE however refused her the release and Kim instead had to sit her contract out at home. The creative decision for Kim to be such a non-entity in a rookie filled match is understandably insulting to the veteran skilled worker. But Kim shouldn't have disrespected the actual match in this way. A positive response is always better than a negative response in these instances imagine if Triple H had simply given up when he was getting buried on WWE TV in 1996. You have to keep a game face on.
