Undertaker Vs Cm Punk Recent discussions with a panel of Wrestling Media members yielded a conclusion that 2013 was a very healthy overall year for the WWE in regards to in-ring performance. The quality across the board from the main-event to the mid-card to the tag team division to even the Divas on both television and PPV was at a consistently high level throughout the year, peaking with a phenomenal effort at Summerslam in August. Though the WWE would prefer everyone be a weekly viewer, the fact of the matter is that there are many fans of the modern product that sporadically tune in. It is, thus, an interesting exercise in reflection, at year's end, to sit back and ask which matches from a given calendar were the ones that you would most likely recommend for viewing to more of a casual fan. Sometimes, the most memorable matches are not always the consensus "best," so it is not as easy as just searching the various critical publications for the bouts with the highest ratings.
