WWE: 12 Wrestlers With Retirement On Their Mind

12. CM Punk

We start with the Straight Edge Superstar CM Punk because his retirement is the probable most imminent. Informally it could have already happened, Punk is gone from WWE right now, and it could be made official in a matter of weeks - CM Punk is no longer a pro wrestler. His exit from the industry is a huge blow to take. Punk is the second biggest full time star in WWE and makes the company significant money from merchandise. He is second to only John Cena for arena merchandise sales and is the top draw name on WWEshop.com. Punk also has a good record on PPV numbers and tv ratings. From a business point of view he is a key talent. From a fan point of view he is the best talent, the best in ring worker in the world with a superb promo ability to match. As a multi millionaire he is now in a position to retire aged 35, given his hatred of travelling and dissatisfaction with his storylines, it looks like he has made this decision. Retirement Verdict: 2014 or if a new contract is agreed 2016
