WWE: 13 Contracts Expiring In The Next Year

1. CM Punk

The only choice for the number 1 most important contract expiry is CM Punk. When his deal expires in July 2014 it will officially mark the end of one of WWE's best drawing stars in the last three years. That's an unfortunate hit to take for the company which no doubt believed Punk had value for a few years yet. In what could amount to breach of contract, Punk has already decided to detach himself from the company and leave. His backstage walkout on Raw in January looks like the conclusion to a stunning wrestling career, with Punk unlikely to return. The feeling for some time had been that the straight edge superstar wouldn't renew his deal, citing problems with injury and burnout. The lack of any top level creative for Punk has also undoubtedly encouraged his decision to leave WWE. The idea of doing the job to Triple H at Wrestlemania must have been too much to take, so for now, CM Punk is done with wrestling. Verdict: Best of luck in your future endeavours
