WWE: 13 Contracts Expiring In The Next Year

11. Samoa Joe

Ok, Joe isn't a WWE talent, but he is worth including here because he could become a WWE wrestler when his TNA contract expires later in 2014. The highly rated wrestler recently revealed on the podcast of fellow wrestler Konnan that his TNA deal ends in 2014, leading some to speculate that he will finish with the company this year. Whether WWE would be interested is arguable. The big league has shown very little interest in the past, even though Mick Foley personally fought for WWE officials to sign Joe at one point. If the company was to go in for the intense star, chances are they would immediately send him for retraining the WWE way down in Florida. If he then managed to make it to the main roster he should probably expect a gimmick repackage into something far less than his TNA character. Joe in WWE has 'jobber' written all over him. However, at the end of a heralded indie career, the big man should really consider enjoying the perks of a WWE paypack for a couple of years. Plus, with questions over TNA's viable future and the horrendous creative going on in Dixie Carter's company, Joe might want to get out as soon as possible. Verdict: No contract offer from WWE, Joe leaves TNA to work more indie dates
