WWE: 15 Most Important Undercard Matches In WrestleMania History

7. Dudley Boyz vs Hardy Boyz vs Edge & Christian, Triangle Ladder Match (WrestleMania 2000)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AM0-Njmxgg Whilst these three Hall of Fame worthy teams of the Attitude Era have since become more synonymous with the pioneering Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match, it is sometimes omitted from such anthology that there would not have been a TLC match were it not for this lost gem of a bout at the glaring clusterf*ck that was Wrestlemania 2000. Seen as the prologue to the trilogy of Tables, Ladders & Chairs Matches (the last of which also including Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit) that these 3 teams would have, the Triangle Ladder Match at Wrestlemania 2000 added the reigning Tag Team Champions, The Dudleys, to the equally pioneering Tag Team Ladder Match concept that the Hardys and Edge & Christian had pitched 5 months earlier, in October 1999. Whilst serving to create the match most associated with some of the craziest and awe-inspiring spots in pro-wrestling history period and also establishing the 6 men within it as the outstanding performers they were- 4 of the 6 would go on to become a future World Heavyweight Champion in the pro-wrestling industry- it also provided a superb bout of high-octane wrestling that set the stage for the revolutionary battles between the 6 that were yet to come.
