17. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane vs. C.M. Punk For The WWE Championship - (No Way Out 2012)

Lee and Punk and his newest challenger for the belt, Kane. The self-proclaimed "submission specialist" ended up costing Kane the title at one point, and a Triple Threat match was created for the WWE Championship. It ended up being an 18-minute spectacle that at one point saw Bryan pull off an amazing split-legged dropkick against his two bigger opponents, and for a while it seemed as if he would ride the energy of his emphatic fans into victory, but C.M. Punk had other ideas. With Bryan down outside of the ring, AJ would run to ringside and cost Kane the title, only enhancing the vindictive pessimism brewing about in Daniel Bryan.
