WWE: 20 Changes That MUST Happen On The Road From WrestleMania 30

10. Dust Off The Book Of Wrestling Storylines

It is most likely that any modern WWE storyline is written by a writer who has little, if any, knowledge of the wrestling business. The result is that most of what the WWE airs is either poorly written or comparable to a reality television show or soap opera. Recent examples include Team Hell No having anger management classes, Batista returning to win the Royal Rumble and having a poorly promoted, WrestleMania quality match in The Shield wrestling The Wyatt family happen at the Elimination Chamber pay per view. The depressing consequence of this is that the WWE fans have witnessed the demise of the classic wrestling storyline; Good vs. Evil, Big vs. Small and Champion vs. Champion to name a few. If the WWE seeks to improve itself, it would make sound business sense that it hire qualified writers, dust off The Book Of Wrestling Storylines and ask the writers to read cover to cover before allowing them to put pen to paper. Maybe then reactionary and poorly conceived events such as WrestleMania 30 will never be repeated. For too long the WWE has been struggling to piece together quality storylines that are not only entertaining for fans but equally promote and develop WWE superstars. For whatever reason this trend looks set to continue, which will result in the continued unrest, disappointment and boredom of many fans both young and old. If the WWE could change the way it structures its storylines, and have a quick glimpse back to its heyday when it actively sanctioned storylines better than every other wrestling promotion, then there is a real possibility that the WWE will make the most of its PG era and leave future wrestling historians with something positive to say about it!
