WWE 2001 PPVs From Worst To Best

9. Judgement Day

The Good: The Undertaker might have been far from his best in 2001 but he brought his working boots here against Steve Austin. It wasn't like he had much of a choice - Austin was on such a roll that he forced others to raise their game in order to keep up with him. Also on a roll was Triple H, who clashed with Kane in a good but forgotten chain match. One of the surprising highlights of the show was the lengthy tag team turmoil match for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Usually used as card-filler, this gauntlet style match had a purpose since it included the surprise team of Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit (who became Champs). Speaking of Benoit, he and Angle collided in a captivating 2/3 falls match. The first fall was a regular wrestling match, the second a submission match and the third a ladder. The Bad: Chyna treated the up-and-coming Lita like a total jabroni in their Women's Title match. Thankfully, this would be Chyna's last WWE appearance before the company got rid of her for good. The Test versus Rhyno versus Big Show hardcore match was what it was (i.e. a typical WWE hardcore match). The Rest: Behold William Regal's reaction to receiving a stinkface from Rikishi in the opening bout.
