WWE 2005 PPVs From Worst To Best

1. WrestleMania 21

The Good: What a wrestling show WrestleMania 21 was (at least for the first three hours). Kicking off with Eddie Guerrero versus Rey Mysterio is never a bad idea. The two had a very exciting match filled with moves and sequences you never see out of anyone else. Unfortunately, Mysterio's mask became detached early on and he kept trying to adjust it mid-match, leading to some awkward moments. Following that was the first ever Money in the Bank ladder match, featuring Edge, Kane, Christian, Benjamin, Benoit and Jericho. What a lineup of talent that is. Unsurprisingly, the match ruled, featuring not only awe-inspiring spots (particularly from Benoit) but good psychology, too (particularly from Benoit). Orton/Undertaker was good and included a few moments where it genuinely looked like Orton would break the streak (which wasn't such a highly-publicised thing then). Trish carried Christy Hemme to a watchable match and Hogan brought the house down with his surprise appearance. Then it was time for Kurt Angle versus Shawn Michaels. What else can you say? This was two of the greatest of all-time, with practically no experience wrestling one another, going out and producing a genuine, show-stealing classic. Finally, Triple H carried Batista to big Dave's first World Heavyweight Championship. The Bad: Big Show. Akebono. Sumo match. Why? JBL and John Cena's match was an anti-climax, especially when you look at what they pulled off at Judgement Day. The Rest: The Hollywood film-inspired trailers for WrestleMania 21 were so much fun. And who could forget... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlwKXA1Jkco
