WWE 2005 PPVs From Worst To Best

7. Survivor Series

The Good: Flair and Triple H continued their heated rivalry with an engrossing Last Man Standing match. Both men took an incredible amount of punishment and the fans were glued to the action. Booker T and Benoit had a solid match in the opener. These guys could always be depended on to produce a good match. The Smackdown versus Raw traditional Survivor Series elimination tag (Michaels/Masters/Big Show/Kane/Carlito versus JBL/Mysterio/Lashley/Orton/Batista) was certainly star-studded. The action, all thirty minutes of it, was good too. Orton won for Team Smackdown but The Undertaker p***ed on his parade by returning and destroying the Smackdown roster. The Bad: Vince McMahon saying the N word isn't ever good, is it? I bet he regretted that one when TMZ and the like were digging it up in the wake of this year's Hogan scandal. Speaking of scandals, the overbooking of John Cena and Kurt Angle's WWE Championship match completely ruined it. These two had proven they could have great matches together but WWE handcuffed them with all the nonsense they tacked-on to it. Trish Stratus versus Melina was disappointing. The Rest: This was the first WWE PPV since the tragic passing of Eddie Guerrero.
