WWE 2K19: 10 Entrances They Must Get Right

5. Shinsuke Nakamura

WWE 2K19 The New Day
WWE/2K

Though his heel run hasn't been perfect, Shinsuke Nakamura's character comes off a lot stronger now that he has turned to the dark side. The natural, dickish charisma that permeated his New Japan work is back. It doesn't resonate as strongly as it did through that promotion's lens, but it's there, and 'The King Of Strong Style' no longer feels like a parody version of his old self.

Nakamura's entrance is where is shines brightly. He looks infinitely more comfortable running through his trademark gyrations and mannerisms as a bad guy, and the change in entrance music helps too. Going from sweeping, violin-led epic to ghastly rap-metal hybrid was a master stroke, and while some sections of the crowd still try to sing the melody back at him, they're drowned out by the obnoxious vocals.

Big entrances will always be an important part of Shinsuke's act, and 2K must nail his altered entrance if they're to capture the true essence of his character. A couple of special walk-outs akin to those that used to precede his big pay-per-view matches would be nice too, but we shan't hold our breath.
