WWE: 30 Things That Must Happen After WrestleMania 30

8. Start A Wrestling League

WWE can struggle in the aftermath of WrestleMania, the spring months up until Money In The Bank can become a real chore to watch. Even worse than that is the Autumn months. What's needed is a structure along the same basis of what we get in WrestleMania season, a progressive story that unfolds over a matter of months. What the WWE could try to innovate is a wrestling league. The season would run from May to November, with all the regular superstars facing off at least once, maybe twice. The matches would take place on Raw, with bigger bouts taking place on PPV. The winner would get 3 points per win and at the end of the season whoever has the most points gets a League Championship belt until the next year. It adds some compelling reasons to watch Raw, and as the season gets to the crunch matches for the top spots, it would make for an exciting pay per view.

7. Give John Cena Some Time Off And Bring On New Stars

John Cena works ridiculously hard for WWE. If he isn't bumping in the ring, you'll find him doing a media conference. He's constantly on the job. Following WrestleMania, it might be a good time for John Cena to pause for reflection. He's nearing 40 and has years of wear on his body, he in fact already looks to be showing the signs of injury from over-working it in the gym. The best advice anyone could give him right now is to slow down, take it easy for a while. The company will be poorer without him, but if he was to take three months off after WrestleMania it could do wonders in extending his career. He would feel healthier and be perceived as a fresher character. The other advantage is it creates a gap for more stars to bubble up. WWE badly needs to create new main eventers.
