WWE's 10 Biggest Money Performers In 2018

3. The Undertaker

'The Phenom's recent WrestleMania form has suggested that he should have left his career behind in New Orleans with the mouths-agape audience struggling to come to terms with the end of his legendary undefeated streak, but the recent request of the Saudi Arabian powerhouses behind April's Greatest Royal Rumble was a reminder of his legendary appeal that extends far beyond his p*ss-poor performances.

The Undertaker was one of the first headliners announced for the show, allegedly as part of a oddball wish-list that also included Yokozuna and The Ultimate Warrior. As the only living soul of the three, 'The Deadman' can count himself lucky that his longevity has extended to both his character and his mortality, and it speaks to the wilful indifference of the bulk of the wrestling audience towards the limp contests that come from a standard Undertaker clash.

Three minute matches such as his John Cena squash on WrestleManias going forward are infinitely preferable to the never-ending loss to Roman Reigns the prior year. This way his mystique may yet be rebuilt to match his ticket-shifting tenure.
