3. Use Managers More

One of the interesting moments of the I Quit Match at Extreme Rules was Zeb Coulter's attempt to help Jack Swagger defeat Alberto Del Rio by grabbing Del Rio's towel from Ricardo Rodriguez. While the ref saw through this and Del Rio went on to win the match, it does obviously open up the interesting wrinkle about managers in I Quit Matches. Often the wrestlers who have participated in I Quit matches have had no managers and so this has not been raised much, but there are lots of possibilities that can be used with managers. For example, a face manager can be to used simply to encourage their superstars to greater heights or perhaps holding the microphone to the face of the heel superstar for him to say 'I Quit'. Heel managers on the other hand, can indulge in all sorts of skullduggery- as I Quit matches are No disqualification after all and there would be nothing stopping the manager laying into the babyface with a few blows of his own. But perhaps one of the most creative ways to use a manager would be for the face manager to cost his star the match by the heel wrestler attacking him rather than the star- forcing the star to say I Quit lest his little buddy get more hurt. Not only would this be a great way to allow heels to win I Quit Matches while allowing them to gain serious heat, it would protect the face from serious harm to their momentum.
