2. Defends Title Against "The New Face Of The WWE"

What if WWE executes things differently for the post Wrestlemania PPV, and give the fans a match that doesn't include a Wrestlemania opponent? Since the days of the Backlash PPV's most of the main events at Backlash/Extreme Rules featured a Wrestlemania rematch. What if WWE decided to not put Daniel Bryan against Triple H, Batista or Randy Orton at Extreme Rules? Who could fill that position? I have some people in mind, but first this is how the storyline could work. Triple H, after losing to Daniel Bryan could tell Batista and Randy Orton before their match to make sure Daniel Bryan does not walk out of Wrestlemania the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Orton/Batista would end up not getting the job done, so on RAW the next night Triple H says "Orton/Batista couldn't get the job done, here is somebody that can get the job done. The new face of the WWE...." Who walks out of the curtain though? I think Cesaro could work well in this role. WWE fans would be treated to some absolute classics between himself and Daniel Bryan, then you also legitimize Cesaro more who looks like he will have a interesting 2014 in WWE. There's another person who could work well in this role, and that man is Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns would obviously have to turn on The Shield at Wrestlemania first as The Shield are faces currently. Reigns is another person who looks like he will have a bright future in the WWE. It would be refreshing to see Daniel Bryan face off against a new face for the title rather than having some sort of Wrestlemania rematch, but due to something like Randy Orton's rematch clause it ends up being a possible storyline, but an unlikely one.
