What isn't there to love about that idea? Many have been talking about how they are hotly anticipating the Ultimate Warrior's Hall of Fame speech, and it definitely has my interest, but Jake Roberts' induction speech could very well be the highlight of the Hall of Fame ceremony. Warrior has been very vocal about his issues with Vince's organisation over the past decade or more, and fans are hoping for a brutally-controversial speech from the Parts Unknown native. Whilst Warrior's speech could have that certain element of car-crash-TV about it, Roberts' speech should offer fans something more. Quick of mind and happy to speak it, I'm sure Jake won't miss the chance to throw out a few verbal beatdowns if he feels the need, but it's the redemption of this wrestling legend that is the most fascinating story to hear. Roberts made a career for himself from calculated, clinically-delivered, well thought-out words. Everything single word that Jake Roberts uttered in a promo, when cohesive, had a point and meaning. Now that Jake has seemingly overcome the biggest obstacles in his life, it will be great to see this man, who gave so much to the wrestling business and who had more ups and downs than nearly anyone the industry has ever seen, get to reflect on his career, on his life and on his redemption.
