WWE: 5 Tag Teams That Can Fill The Void

2013 was a banner year for the WWE's Tag Team Division. Team Hell No, The Shield (Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins), and The Brotherhood (Cody Rhodes and Goldust) are the three teams that held the Tag Team Titles in 2013, and all played a part in elevating not only the titles themselves, but also the prospects of every other team in the division. The Shield's run as champs in particular was an important contributor to the rise of The Usos as a credible and beloved Tag Team. If not for the spectacular, show stealing match The Usos had against Rollins and Reigns during the Money In The Bank 2013 Pre-Show, I'm not sure the WWE would have gotten behind the charismatic and wildly entertaining siblings to the degree that they have. Looking at 2013, it was impossible not to be optimistic about what Tag Team Wrestling would deliver in 2014; that said we're off to a dubious start. Don't get me wrong, I had fun with The Outlaws victory lap as Tag Team Champions, and The Usos as Tag Champs is something that I've been anticipating for a long time as someone who has been high on Jimmy and Jey for years. The reason I say the year has started dubiously is because it has quite literally been "Break-Up Fest 2014". Late 2013 saw the demise of Tons Of Funk, we recently witnessed the implosion of The Prime Time Players, and the break ups of The Brotherhood, The Real Americans and The Shield appear imminent. Taking the recent rate of separations in the Tag Team Division into consideration, it looks as though the WWE will require an influx of new Tag Teams to fill out the division. With five teams seemingly out of the Tag Team picture (three of which will likely be official come Wrestlemania), I've decided to throw out five new teams that will not only help fill out the division, but also build on the success of the division's prolific 2013.
