4. His Best New Rival Will Be Sheamus
It's important that Batista comes back to face off with some new opponents because if we see him going at it with the same guys like Orton or Cena then it won't feel very fresh at all. Much like Lesnar, who was mentioned earlier, a new opponent for Batista would be Sheamus. The babyface side of the roster is loaded with talent. Look at these names: John Cena, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Batista as the top four is very strong. With Sheamus due to return any time now, why not a heel run for Sheamus? His babyface work was fine and the fans did like him for the most part, but it got a bit boring too. Heel Sheamus would be a refreshing change for the Irishman. If you look at the styles of Batista and Sheamus, it's likely that they will be able to put together some great matches. Why? Because both have shown the ability to have very good matches with opponents that are considered power wrestlers just like they are. A violent brawl between two power wrestlers that know what they're doing? Those are fun to watch. The chemistry could be very good for these two. Right now Sheamus' return is under the radar. If it happens at the Rumble and he has a showdown with Batista at some point the fans would likely react to it positively because it's fresh. That's the key. It's definitely something to keep our eyes on.
