2. He's Recognizable In Pop-Culture
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEXSffZgNzs Andre the Giant was as much an ambassador of wrestling in the media as a force to be reckoned with in the ring. The Big Show is pretty recognizable outside of the ring, and as such is a pop culture figure--though nobody is spray painting his face on the sides of buildings or making them the logo of their company, that may only be a matter of time. Big Show has had a number of major and minor appearances in films such as The Waterboy, Jingle All The Way, and MacGruber. He's also been featured on late night TV with Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Fallon, MadTV and Saturday Night Live among others. In addition to the late-night circuit he's been on shows such as Thunder in Paradise, Royal Pains, and Burn Notice. Big Show is a bonafide star as well as a superstar. He's got the charisma, intelligence, and humor to be a public face for the company and the industry--and is, just as Andre was.
