5. An Innovating Diva
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBncuTq29QI I'm sure there were women in wrestling doing moves that Lita was known for before Lita was conceived. But in terms of WWE, no Diva before Lita embraced high-risk maneuvers quite as much as she did. Not only were the fans captivated by Lita's unique and subtly sexy look, they were completely mesmerized by the moves she was pulling off in the ring. From Frankensteiners to Diving Hurricanranas (affectionately referred to as Litacanranas), from Diving Crossbodies off of the top-rope to the outside of the ring and Suicide Dives to match-ending Litasault, you never knew what to expect in Lita's matches! While Lita may not have been the actual innovator of the Moonsault or the Diving Hurricanrana, she let it be known to the WWE Universe that Divas were able to do more in the ring than just Clotheslines, Hair Biels, and Suplexes. While standing out from the pack with her own unique moveset, she forced others to step up their own game and become more creative. Had it not been for Lita, chances are we may not have seen the Molly-Go-Round, the Widow's Peak, or even the Stratusfaction! Aside from being an innovator among the Divas in terms of movesets, Lita was also an innovator in matches. She took part in numerous Hardcore Matches and Street Fights, brandished weapons against men in matches, was physically involved in TLC Matches and standard Ladder Matches; and also won the first-ever Bra & Panties Match and competed in the first-ever Divas' Steel Cage Match. One of Lita's more memorable moments also came when she became the first and only Diva to execute a Frankensteiner off of the top of a ladder (she did the move to Christian during a Tag Team Steel Cage Match at Unforgiven 2000) and also being the only Diva to ever be shoved from the top of a ladder and through a wooden table (at the hands of Trish Stratus).
