WWE: 6 Reasons Why Lita Deserves Hall Of Fame Induction

4. Body Of Work

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vE3lVWWZtQ Of course, when one is inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame, as Trish Stratus put it the night of her own induction: "It's a look back - a reflection - on your career, on your body of work." Lita's body of work is truly one of the most memorable and more interesting ones among all of the WWE Divas, past or present. Because of her unwavering popularity, Lita was profiled a lot and rightfully so. Lita had a tremendous run with The Hardy Boyz as the third member of Team Extreme and earned her moniker of WWE's "Queen of Extreme" thanks to some hard-hitting Hardcore Matches during her mini-feud with another trailblazing Diva, Jacqueline Moore. Routinely putting her body on the line, Lita had amazing matches, feuds, and encounters with the likes of Molly Holly, Mickie James, Victoria, Jazz, and was also the only Diva to have an actual competitive match against the unstoppable Chyna (and the fans actually turned against "the Ninth Wonder of the World" in favor of Lita). Lita also had a memorable feud with ex-boyfriend Matt Hardy, a memorable if not overly dramatic pregnancy storyline with Kane, and is most well known for her legendary on-again/off-again rivalry with Trish Stratus. As female iterations of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock in their division, Trish and Lita's careers were constantly intertwined and it's hard to imagine if we'll ever see a feud of this magnitude among the Divas ever again. Kaitlyn and AJ Lee came close, until it's abrupt conclusion and Kaitlyn's eventual release. It was this amazing feud that enabled both Trish and Lita to main event RAW in 2004, with the Women's Championship on the line and without the presence of any male wrestlers in the match or at ringside. It wasn't Lita's first time main eventing a show though, as Lita won her first Women's Championship against Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley in the closing contest of RAW IS WAR in 2000. This made history as the first Divas' Match to main event WWE programming.
