2013 was a very eventful year for the WWE, and a lot of what occurred within the promotion was great for all fans, regardless of if you prefer actual wrestling, or if you are more into the entertainment side of things. This article takes a look at 7 huge positives that came from the WWE in 2013.
7. Renaissance Of The In-Ring Product

Though many had (valid) criticisms of Raw expanding to three hours, this has allowed for far more in-ring action. It is not uncommon to see matches on the flagship show going twenty or thirty minutes. Smackdown has been bringing the goods as well, with the six man tag between Team Hell No & Randy Orton and The Shield being among the best matches of the year. There have also been some amazing pay per view matches. Wrestlemania 29 may have fallen a little flat this year, but CM Punk and The Undertaker did not get the memo. They waged a back in forth war that had the fans in attendance losing their minds with excitement. In fact, CM Punk brought the goods on pay per view throughout the entire year, as his match with Chris Jericho at Payback stole the show, and his match with Brock Lesnar at Summerslam was one of the greatest of all time (more on this later). With a roster that includes: Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Antonio Cesaro, John Cena, and the Shield, and occasional appearances from RVD, Chris Jericho and The Undertaker 2013 was a great time to be a fan of wrestling.
