WWE: 7 Huge Positives From 2013

1. Nourishing The Newcomers Through NXT

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yc5Ro2yEgHs There are a lot of good things coming out of WWE's developmental territory, both in terms of what it offers the superstars of tomorrow, and what it offers to current fans. NXT gives young talent a modest stage for them to hone their characters, promos and in-ring skills. They're not performing in front of 80,000 at Sun Life Stadium, or even 15,000 at the Allstate Arena, but nonetheless the few hundred people who attend Fullsail Universty for NXT tapings are passionate fans who know the product, and can engage with the young talent. Similarly, the show may not be broadcast to a nation-wide audience in the U.S., but it is available online in America and in Canada on The Score. This way, a wrestler can work out the kinks before millions of eyes are locked on him or her. NXT has treated fans to some amazing performers.. The Wyatt family, who have since been called up to, and made a huge impact in, the WWE got their start in Winter Park, Florida. Currenty, NXT is home to The Ascension, the NXT tag team champions who show a level of teamwork and continuity reminiscent of some of the great 80s tag teams. NXT is also the stomping grounds of "The Artiste" Aiden English, a classically trained actor and artist who sings his way to the ring. All three members of the Shield are call-ups from NXT. If their run of excellence is any indication, the future for WWE is extremely bright.
