3. Hasn't Had A Decent Match In Over A Decade
I honestly don't know why people think the three Triple H vs Undertaker Wrestlemania matches could be ever considered as classics. They weren't good at all. In fact, the ONLY times I have ever fallen asleep during a Wrestlemania event was during the last two of these supposed "classics." My God were those matches boring. A lot of people have given a lot of s**te about John Cena headlining with the Miz but at least that match was more entertaining and featured the Rock. The first two Trips vs Taker matches were basically repeats of each other but the third and final abomination (that took place in a Hell in the Cell no less) was not only one of the worst matches in WM history but what in the hell were they thinking? The whole angle with HBK was just pathetic. And half the match was spent with Shawn Michaels asking if the Undertaker could continue. That made absolutely no sense. I mean please, it's the streak, he ended your career (kayfabe). He is like 20-0, he is NOT going to give up or submit, we all know this, but how is it that you seemingly don't? This dragged on for almost a whole 45 minutes (counting the 12 minutes of entrance time). From bell to bell the match took a little over 30 minutes and although there were a few hard impacts the actual "wrestling" was absolutely shocking. Here, let me refresh your memory as to what defines an actual "classic" Wrestlemania match
And that has been the story for Triple H for over a decade now. He can't wrestle. In fact, I can name the exact date of his last great match, August 25th, 2002. The unsanctioned (how ironic) match against Shawn Micheals. And let me tell you that HBK was the one doing all the work. He carried Trips to one of his best matches of his entire career. Ones that a few and far between I can assure you. Since then it has been the same ol' same ol'. Same tired cliches, same tired catchphrases and sayings and SAME STORY LINES OVER AND OVER AGAIN (do you see a repeating pattern here?). Triple H leads a stable of bad guys to take on the current top good guy. It has been done to death by Terror Rysin' and proves without a shadow of a doubt that he is one of the most undeserving performers in WWE history. Although we all know that his wrestling skill is not why he is where he is today.
