WWE: 7 Superstars Who Desperately Need New Direction (And How To Do It)
5. Every Babyface Diva
You read that right. It says "every babyface diva" because they really need to do something with them. The Problem: No babyface diva gets the chance to cut promos on Raw or Smackdown or have any character development. The Solution: Devote some time to character development for the divas. The way WWE current books the divas division is atrociously bad. It's not the fault of the talent. It's the booking. They have women on the babyface side like Natalya, Naomi, Brie Bella and Nikki Bella who are good all around performers. I'm not going to include Cameron because I think she's on a level below the others. The problem with those girls is they have no character development at all. It's not like they can't talk. The issue is that they are not given the opportunity to do so. Backstage segments that air on the App don't count either. They need talking segments on Raw or Smackdown. They almost never get them. No diva is going to get over with fans if all they ever do is walk out to the ring, smile, wave, show their pom poms (why do the Funkadactyls still have them anyway?) and basically all do the same thing. Give them something to do. A little effort by the creative team would be nice.
