WWE: 8 Things That Make The Shield So Good?

2. Their Actions Always Speak Louder Than Words

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqdDQTqmqTQ When you think back to stables such as The New World Order for example, they used to kick off the night with a long-winded promo where each and every single member of the group had the opportunity to say a piece on the microphone before we actually progressed through a show. Then we have D-Generation X who performed countless backstage comedy skits, in-ring comedy promos and many other shenanigans which were not related to wrestling in any way; yet they remained successful even when they performed. We do not see this with The SHIELD, they make their way down from the crowd, they beat the living hell out of somebody, such as smashing Ryback through a table and that€™s it; the fat lady sings and their shift for the night is over. Is that such a bad thing? No it isn€™t, we don€™t always need fifteen or twenty minutes of constant talking, that just bores the fans, this new breed is a lot better where they actions speak much louder than words, I can safely say I would prefer watching The SHIELD walk down from the crowd, beat somebody down and walk out rather than having to sit through fifteen minutes of a group I may not even enjoy watching. But they do get their segments, they are allowed to have their moments to speak, whether it is an interview where they provide one or two word answers, or whether they are addressing the WWE Universe, neither Reigns, Rollins or Ambrose ramble on for fifteen minutes about what they are going to do, instead they keep it short and sweet, getting straight to the point and they either fight straight after it, or make their way back up from the crowd. That is something the WWE has been missing, they don€™t need to go over the top, sometimes the simple things are a whole lot better when executed perfectly.
