WWE: 9 Awesome Tag Teams That Never Won The Belts

9. The Killer Bees

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysHkqe34zDs If you can, ignore the ridiculous jackets and ring gear (it was the 80s, don't ask) and believe this: The Killer Bees were a good tag team. Made up of "Jumpin" Jim Brunzell and B. Brian Blair, the Killer Bees were involved in the WWF's tag team division for almost four years. Brunzell was a tag team mainstay in the AWA, teaming with Verne Gagne's son Greg as one half of the High Flyers. The Iron Sheik's favorite wrestler, B. Brian Blair, kicked around territories in Kansas City and Florida, participating in feuds with Jesse Ventura and former WWWF Champion Stan Stasiak. The Bees debuted in the WWF in 1985 and wore masks to hide their identities. This also allowed them to confuse the referee by switching places without a tag since they were similar in height and build. Though this was primarily a heel tactic, the "masked confusion" gimmick started to get over with the fans. After feuding with the Funk brothers, the Killer Bees received a few title shots against the Dream Team comprised of Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine. There was no reason that the Bees couldn't have traded the titles with the Dream Team, considering that any team with Brutus Beefcake on it can't be taken seriously anyways. Blair and Brunzell left the WWF in the late 1980s and continued to team on the independent circuit. However, their WWF run was one that probably should have included gold.
