WWE Adds HUGE Match To Raw's Debut On Netflix

This Roman Reigns announcement will get people talking before WWE Raw lands on Netflix.

Roman Reigns challenged Solo Sikoa to a one-on-one "Tribal Combat" showdown for Raw's debut episode on Netflix during Friday's episode of SmackDown. The 'OTC' noted that things seem even between both sides of The Bloodline following recent revenge for his team at Survivor Series: WarGames. Now, Roman vows to settle the score and win back his ula fala once and for all.

According to Reigns, the 6 January TV match is strictly between he and Sikoa until the finish. It remains to be seen if WWE will adhere to that stipulation, or if they'll turn this into the usual brawl between both sets of family members. There's a decent chance they downplay Roman's "one-on-one" stip in coming weeks.

That'd open the match up to plenty of interference and other shenanigans.

Interestingly, Solo went to either accept or knock back the challenge later in the night before being interrupted by LA Knight. Sikoa then technically lost his match vs. Knight by disqualification when Jacob Fatu pulled the ex-United States Champion out of the ring by his ears. That's so gloriously Jacob!

Will A New Bloodline Member Debut, Or...?

Some on social media are happy to speculate that one of two things will happen on Raw's Netflix debut now Roman vs. Solo has been all but confirmed. Those fans believe a brand new member of The Bloodline will be introduced as another Sikoa recruit, thus giving him the edge in "Tribal Combat" and another excuse for WWE's epic blood-based narrative to roll on.

Others think The Rock will show face for the first time since Bad Blood. That'd certainly jumpstart this Raw on Netflix era, but it'd be a slight surprise if WWE agreed to have Rocky show up unannounced yet again. They might fancy using his obvious name value to pop a big rating and draw more eyes to the show.

If Dwayne is in the house, then Bobby Heenan enthusiasts will be screaming: '...but whose side is he on?' at their screens. That's still up in the air following Rock's non-committal appearance on the October PLE. Rocky could team back up with Reigns, The Usos and Sami Zayn, or he might be more inclined to toss a curveball by siding with Solo, Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
