WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (April 19)

5. Prime Time Lamers

Ooof. These skits keeping getting worse. For three weeks now, The Prime Time Players have been making fun of the various teams in WWE€™s sickly tag division. It€™s yet to be €œha ha€ funny, and this week it veered into €œgo away!€ annoying. Making fun of Los Matadores seems like a waste of everyone€™s time, kind of like the act itself. Titus and Darren don€™t need to bother pointing out how unpopular they are, it seems most people are already well aware of that. How odd is it anyway that management writes those scripts to make fun of tag teams that they employ and are in creative control of? It€™s not like Diego and Fernando chose to portray cartoon bull fighters, and pair themselves up with a short man in a bull costume. The Midnight Express couldn€™t have got over with that gimmick! Besides, if WWE wants to point out who isn€™t over on-air, they could pick on the majority of the roster. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9Pj86YJk6s Oh, and rainbow is Darren€™s favorite color? Well, instead of doing anything interesting with him publicly coming out as the first gay wrestler in WWE, they€™ll instead make the lamest, most obvious jokes they can. Let€™s hope that€™s not a recurring trend.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
