WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Dec 13)

5. The Mid Card Blues

On Raw, they started a match in the middle of a commercial break. This match featured a former World Heavyweight Champion, and a man who has held eight titles in WWE. But not only was their entrances not important enough to televise, the first couple minutes of their match was less important than a commercial for Popeye's Chicken. Since when is that a thing? If a Stardust and Jack Swagger match isn€™t worth showing on TV, then A) Why is it booked? And B) Why are they even employed? Seriously, if WWE thinks that people would rather watch commercials than the beginning of a match, then what point is there to having them on the roster? Was there no other way to book the show? This move sends an ever-increasing message that the fights between wrestlers aren€™t important, that wins and losses don€™t matter, and that nothing, except for Roman Reigns€™ hollow quest to win the WWE title again means anything right now.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
