Now let's talk about Goldust's younger brother. Cody Rhodes can be a lot of fun to watch. But now when he's on TV, Titus ONeil pops up, jokes are attempted, and groans are induced. Two weeks in a row of this? How many more are we to suffer through? Cody has so much potential. The man has shown some fire on promos when given the opportunity, but hes reduced to playing mini-Golddust. Still, he hasnt been bad in the role, but he was never given any wins to back up all his talk. Now, hes effectively turned into a comedy figure. Titus, Im assuming, has been out of college for over a decade. Should he still be doing the barking taunt of his fraternity? Seems like he should probably let that go. If I was at work, and someone barked in my face because thats what their frat did, Id give him a knuckle sandwich! Or...just politely ask him to stop, and then maybe tell HR if they didn't. This is just more of WWEs painful blend of comedy that amuses no one except for Vince McMahon. Unfortunately, we still have a few weeks until Christmas, so were going to be gifted with this recurring gag a few more times.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
