WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Dec 6)

6. Cosmic Embarrassment

Now let's talk about Goldust's younger brother. Cody Rhodes can be a lot of fun to watch. But now when he's on TV, Titus O€™Neil pops up, jokes are attempted, and groans are induced. Two weeks in a row of this? How many more are we to suffer through? Cody has so much potential. The man has shown some fire on promos when given the opportunity, but he€™s reduced to playing mini-Golddust. Still, he hasn€™t been bad in the role, but he was never given any wins to back up all his talk. Now, he€™s effectively turned into a comedy figure. Titus, I€™m assuming, has been out of college for over a decade. Should he still be doing the barking taunt of his fraternity? Seems like he should probably let that go. If I was at work, and someone barked in my face because that€™s what their frat did, I€™d give him a knuckle sandwich! Or...just politely ask him to stop, and then maybe tell HR if they didn't. This is just more of WWE€™s painful blend of comedy that amuses no one except for Vince McMahon. Unfortunately, we still have a few weeks until Christmas, so we€™re going to be gifted with this recurring gag a few more times.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
