WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Feb 21)

4. JBL Saying Things

€œThere€™s never been a more destructive force in the WWE than the Wyatt Family€ - JBL on Raw.
Apparently JBL does not watch Raw. He€™s physically there, but either doesn€™t keep his eyes open, or is playing Candy Crush on his phone while people wrestle and talk and stuff. I get saying that big, kind of misleading statements to get over the fact that the things happening right now are super, hugely important, but putting over The Wyatt Family like he did strained all sorts of credibility. Name ONE big match they€™ve ever won as a team. Um...Tommy Dreamer, and The Dudleyz? Hell, Bradshaw was IN the Ministry of Darkness, which seemed to have a lot more success than the Wyatt Family. You could probably argue his Cabinet Stable with the Bashams and Orlando Jordan were more destructive. It also wasn't his only bad statement of the week:
"How many people have survived Suplex City?€ -JBL on Raw. "Good point." -Byron Saxton in response to JBL on Raw.
Actually no, that€™s a really terrible point. If we take it literally, then yes, everyone has survived Suplex City. It would be really sad if they hadn't. If we take if figuratively, then well, it€™s almost as absurd. See, WWE SHOULD have been pushing Brock Lesnar as an insanely dangerous man. When he wrestlers someone, and beats the hell out of them, that person should be out of action for weeks, too beat up to compete. But they don€™t. Brock is just another wrestler who tosses people around, and they show up the next episode of Raw no worse for wear. Minus his arm breaking act for a bit, you could fight Brock, or fight Bo Dallas, and the damage is roughly the same. JBL is starting to drift into Tony Schiavone territory, soon he€™ll be telling us every episode of Raw is biggest night of wrestling in the history of the world!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
