Theres not a lot of things to like about a Braun Strowman vs. Big Show match. You know its going to be awkward, bad and humiliating for both parties, like the time I went to prom. It was also a terrible way to cap off the final hype for Fastlane. The only thing to like about it was that wed never seen it before. So...yeah. However, WWE seems to want to make this a big mans monster match, so why not at least build towards it? The two had a showdown at the Royal Rumble, and Braun choked Show out in like a minute. Shouldnt that have been a major selling point of the singles match? If not, then why bother booking that spot in the first place? Shouldnt Show want revenge or something? Or want to prove that hes still the best big man in the business, you know, some sort of storyline? The only thing I want Big Show to do is to leave me alone. Weve been through the bad times together, and the really bad times together, so its time to get ready to pass that torch. Its inevitable that WWE wants these two to have a big confrontation someday, so why throw the very first one away like that? It was one of the most confusing, and lackluster go-home sales pitches the company has had in some time. Kane, Ryback and Big Show as a unit is the music equivalent of Nickelback, Smashmouth and Sugar Ray teaming together.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
