WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Jan 17)

3. It Takes 30 Seconds!

On Raw, we saw a glimpse of Damien Sandow on the main stage wearing his comfortable looking blue robe that he used to wear. On SmackDown, we saw him donning the pink tights once again. So he€™s back to his Savior of the Masses character right? The question is: when did that happen? How can WWE be so lazy and inept that they will put a character on TV and not explain why that character has changed their ways? What other TV show does that? If we see Bran Stark in the next season of Game of Thrones, but he now has a shaved head, walks around in pink trunks, and had a dog€™s butt tattooed on his face with no explanation whatsoever, that would be a case of really bad writing and fans would be furious. In WWE, it€™s just a regular edition of Monday Night Raw. Why is WWE held to a different standard? It shouldn€™t matter that one is on HBO and the other is on USA, they€™re both nationally televised written dramas. All that was needed was a 30 second promo (at the minimum) of Sandow explaining why he has gone back to his old attire. That would then let us know if he's gone back to being a heel or not. Is that too much to ask? If Roman Reigns got a pair of new shoes that would have received more attention from the announcers than Sandow got.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
