WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Jan 4)

3. Quote The Cesaro, Nevermore

On Raw, Cesaro sat in the corner of the ring as if he was Raven, and wore a towel on his head as if he was Tazz. Sadly he cut a promo as if he was Lex Luger. Okay, maybe it wasn€™t that bad, but it sure wasn€™t the CM Punk pipe-bomb promo that cut through WWE€™s nonsense and spoke directly to fans. Cesaro tried with the limited amount of time he was given, but it just didn€™t work. Perhaps he lacks the fire of Punk. It could also have something to do with him awkwardly talking about the four ropes of the ring. What also didn't work was Cesaro talking about management thinking he doesn't connect with the audience. That's why he's not a big star! That shouldn€™t matter at all. That makes no sense from a storyline standpoint. All that should matter is wins and losses, and Cesaro always loses. End of story. The days of the Vince Russo shoot storylines should be done with. Does that mean within the context of the story that the boss made him lose to Bad News Barrett too? It€™s just a messy place to be in, and it rarely works out. If WWE really does want Cesaro to get over, maybe they could have him actually win some matches.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
