WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Jan 4)

1. The Authority Returns

All that talk of WWE changing forever now means nothing. All that hype into Survivor Series is now a joke. Sting accomplished nothing. If he didn€™t beat up Hunter, him and his wife would still be in charge. I want my $9.99 back! Oh yeah, November was free for the network. Well, then I want my three hours back! Steph and HHH perhaps saw the ratings sliding a bit and thought it may have been because they were gone. You know what, that might actually be, but that€™s only because WWE has promoted itself for years in a way that non-wrestlers are the most important people on the roster. After all, they tell us Daniel Bray is a B+ trolls, Cesaro can€™t connect, Miz is only there to make Hunter laugh and Kane, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton are merely their henchmen. Of course no one will buy the roster as important! What WWE needed was five years away from evil authority figures. It€™s boring. It€™s played out. It damages every single person on the roster by positioning them as cowards who are too afraid to stand up for themselves. This was not the way that 2014 needed to end. It was basically the worst way to start of 2015. Crappy New Year everyone! Time to kick out. Agree? Disagree? What was your worst wrestling moment of the week? Sound off below and thanks for reading!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
