WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (July 24)
4. Shield vs. Shield vs. Boredom
Who’s ready to watch The Shield fight in a triple threat match? Probably only the people who haven’t watched WWE since they originally split up. Yes, we haven’t seen them fight each other in a three-way, but we’ve seen basically every other iteration of them fighting in every conceivable way multiple times, to the point of exhaustion.
Just this week alone we were given two Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins matches on free TV. Now adding Roman Reigns to the mix is supposed to entice people to order The Network. WWE has been doing a horrible job of keeping their main event talent away from each other, because they continually book them in pointless tag and singles matches. By the time the money match is supposed to go down, we’re already exhausted.
When the group initially went their separate ways, we knew a three way match would eventually go down. We just didn’t know it could possibly feel this inconsequential.
