WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (March 22)

Chris Jericho sure has changed his mind recently. In an interview with Digital Spy shortly before the Royal Rumble, he had this to say about Roman Reigns:
"I think Roman's doing great, I think there's a lot of guys doing great, but it all depends on the reaction of the fans
Well, it doesnt depend on the fans anymore. Because apparently they should just Shut the hell up! if they dont believe Roman is a good worker as he told IGN. His memory also seems to be pretty questionable too:
"But all I know is that Roman Reigns was everybody's favorite guy until the Royal Rumble. And then everyone turned on Roman Reigns. It's so funny how two days before, and the year before, everybody loved Roman Reigns. Everybody. All the fans did."
Did Jericho actually watch WWE these past few months? No Chris, not everyone loved Roman Reigns. Not everyone at all. The backlash for him has gone back farther than The Rumble. That was just when it hit its peak. He also insisted Roman is a good worker because he was in one good match ever and that it takes "takes two." He also assured us that Roman is ready:
"So I think that he is ready, as much as anyone can be ready in this day and age. So let's see how it goes. I mean the match he had with Daniel Bryan at Fastlane was incredible. And you can't tell me that it was all because of Daniel Bryan."
What does he even mean by This day and age? Are the standards lower today than they used to be? Different, yes. Decades ago you needed to have the skills of a pure wrestler like Lou Thesz to carry a company. Now you need a combination of in-ring ability, charisma, and promo skills to make it as a top guy. Roman has none of those at a WrestleMania main event level. By Jerichos logic, Ultimate Warrior was also a great worker, because he had like three good matches out of 500. Don't worry every wrestling journalist, and hardcore fan out there, Roman is ready. Jericho is sure of it. And if you disagree, well then you'll just have to keep it to yourself.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
